Kids Day – Free Fishing Day

Lake Pomme de Terre – State Park Marina

Bring your kids or grandkids out for a fun-filled day of fishing at beautiful Lake Pomme de Terre. It’s all about family time, making memories, and enjoying the outdoors together.

This event is open to kids 15 and under, and all experience levels are welcome. Older siblings are encouraged to assist!

RSVP required by May 25 to help us plan for the luncheon

What to Expect

• Fishing fun on the covered docks of the State Park Marina from 9:00 – 12:00
• Grab bag for every participant
• Certificate for every participant
• Trophies for Biggest Fish, Smallest Fish, and Most Fish broke down into four age groups: 6 and Under, 9 and Under, 12 and Under, and 15 and Under
• Free Luncheon Provided by the Pomme De Terre Chapter of Muskies Inc.  from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM (State Park Shelter House)
• Special Guests: Pittsburg Fire Department (fire truck + short presentation) and Missouri Department of Conservation
• Prizes, grab bags, and certificates will be handed out at the luncheon

 Important Information

• Every participant must wear a life jacket
• Each child must always be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian
• Max per family: 4 adults and 5 kids (please include accurate counts when RSVPing)
• Please bring: Life jacket, Fishing gear, and Rain gear (just in case)
• Rain or shine (covered docks available at the marina
• Dock space is limited to 25 families, 25-50 kids expected.
